a brief history:

One fateful day in March of 2001, Sylvan Migdal foolishly decided to create a webcomic, after a few of his friends began their own. The result was Spork, which debuted in the second week of April to great fanfare amongst the artistic community. Within a month, over 3 people had read it. At that time, it moved to Keenspace, and gradually made a name for itself, updating every day for more than 4 months, until Sylvan decided to start a new comic, A God's Life. AGL, based on a novella Sylvan had written in high school, made a slightly bigger splash, drawing thousands of readers into its terrifying web of randomness. Then it ended, due to Sylvan running out of novella to adapt. And so he embarked on an endless project to implement all the other ideas he had during AGL's run, including the miniseries Carface, a new season of Spork (it's coming, I promise!), an ongoing comic strip, Medieval, (currently bumped back indefinitely) and a new quasi-mystical bizarre sci-fi adventure, Mnemesis. Realizing that things had gotten totally out of hand, he decided to unite all of his comics under one roof, Sylvan Migdal's Extremely Interesting Web Comics.

Sylvan is also the organizer of the dubiously tasteful KeenLace 2002, and the disorganizer of the webcomics conglomerate Turbocool, spreading fear and hatred since January 2002. And he created a small site for a sampling of the comics of one Harry Waldman. And he has showed up in minor roles in places too numerous to name. It has been speculated that he has in fact been instrumental in the failure of the webcomics industry as a whole.
